What material depth are Metex dapple bars suitable for?

All our dapple bars have a 38mm bottom bar which makes them ideal for any material depths above 30mm.

Are Metex dapple bars corrosion resistant?

The dapple bars are protected with a tough powdercoated finish that is electrostatically attracted to the metal during application, for maximum coverage, then cured in an oven.

What's the difference between Metex aluminium & steel dapple bars?

Aluminium dapple bars are generally used for liquid screeds, because they are lightweight and easy to handle. Steel dapple bars are typically used for flowing concrete because they need to be more robust.

How do I maintain the dapple bars to make them last?

We recommend rinsing the dapple bars with water between jobs to remove any built up screed and chemicals before it sets.

Material compatibility

For advice on which Metex dapple bars work best with which materials, please refer to the compatibility chart on the right.

For Topflow, Breedonflow Form, Agilia, or any other flowing concrete, either the Metex Steel Dapple Bars or the aluminium dapple bar range will work. For Gyvlon, Cemfloor, Cemflow, Highflow, Belitex, or any other self-levelling liquid screed, you should choose the lighter Metex aluminium dapple bar range.
