What's the difference between Metex universal screed levellers and insulation levellers?

The pointed insulation levellers are designed to penetrate floor insulation boards and remain securely positioned during screed installation – so they are designed specifically for use with UFH insulation. The universal levellers have a weighted base and can be used without insulation.

How do I maintain screed levellers to make them last?

Rinse screed levellers clean immediately after they have been removed from the screed, to prevent any screed setting on them.

How far apart should screed levellers be spaced?

We recommend a spacing of 1500mm between screed levellers.

Can I buy a custom number of Metex screed tripods or levellers?

All our tripods and screed levellers are only sold in boxes of 20 (lightweight insulation levellers in boxes of 50). Sorry, we can’t split boxes.

Why use a screed leveller instead of traditional metal tripods?

This is up to you of course – the lightweight screed levellers are lighter, more compact, quicker to install and adjust, and easier to clean.

How is the height adjusted on Metex lightweight screed levellers?

You can quickly adjust the levellers to the required datum height by sliding the ring up or down.
