What is Pipefall made from?

Pipefall is made from robust anodised aluminium.

How does Pipefall compare to a laser level?

Pipefall is portable and light with no set-up or calibration needed, which makes it quicker and easier to use compared to standard laser levels and ideal for moving between job sites. For contractors who don’t want to invest in a laser level, it is also a more affordable option. For larger or complex drainage systems a laser level may be more appropriate, while Pipefall is especially useful for smaller jobs, spot checks, tight spaces, or when working solo.

What gradients can Pipefall measure?

Pipefall is pre-set to measure four common drainage gradients: 1:40, 1:60, 1:80, and 1:100. Just rotate the tool until the integrated spirit level shows level at the desired gradient.

Can Pipefall be used with building control checks?

Yes – Pipefall gives a quick and reliable visual check of the pipe fall. It’s a great way to confirm to your building control officer that your installation meets Building Regs Part H drainage gradient ‘fall’ requirements.

How do I use the Pipefall tool?

Place Pipefall onto the top of the pipe laid in the trench with the block end facing downstream, and rotate the tool to show the gradient you want facing upwards (1:40, 1:60, 1:80, or 1:100). Adjust the pipe as required until the spirit level bubble is level. No laser level needed!
