What is the Metex Grout Gone tool used for?
The Metex grout rake is designed to remove old, damaged, or discoloured grout from between tiles before regrouting.
What's the maximum tile joint width I can use the Metex Grout Gone grout rake on?
For wider grout joints you can use 2 blades together (extra blades available separately), up to about 5.5mm.
Can the Metex Grout Gone grout scraper remove grout from corner joints?
Yes it can, just switch the blade position to the side of the tool and you’re good to go.
Can the blades be replaced once they wear out?
Yes, the Metex Grout Gone grout remover tool has replacement blades available separately.
How is the Metex grout remover tool different from other grout rakes?
Most grout scrapers only have a short blade so you can only scrape a short section of the tile joint at a time. The Metex Grout Gone tool has a longer blade so you’re covering more grout joint at a time and can work 3x faster than with standard grout rakes.
